SPT has just been awarded the Certificate of Service Mark Registration by the Korea Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) on November 19, 2008. The Certificate covers three classes of goods/services: 36, 38, and 39.
Korea is one of five designated nations and areas SPT chose to apply for its new trademark through the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) under Madrid Protocol since January 2007. By its progressive effort, SPT has been successively granted the protection from according intellectual property offices in Australia, EU, Hong Kong and the USA.
The Top 100 of 2008 Golden Star of Vietnam Award on August 2008 together with the worldwide protection that SPT’s trademark has been awarded have fortified SPT’s growth in postal and telecommunications services.
